Without you
Fear, loneliness and desperation can make a practical woman go insane.
Reassertion, warmth and security is what I crave.
On a lonely little island, without you, I would cease to exist.
You encourage me to keep me fighting through my darkest hours,
And help me stay focused on any challegenge that may lie ahead.
I’ve tested you and have even veered away from your guidance at times.
Without fail, you appear like magic to pick me up and bring me back to reality.
You bring out the best of me and make me feel as if I can conquer the world.
So I beg you, please do not leave me for I am nothing without you.
I promise that I will live to cherish you for you are my one and my only, my sanity.
