Without You

Without you I’d go crazy.

You know it to be true.

I'd be obtuse and hazy,

which means I can't lose you.

Without you this is not my land

Without you I'd get lost at sea.

If I were stranded in an island

I would want you next to me.

Without you love would be a myth,

Like an ancient tale once told.

Another lie to read in books,

Another warmth I could not hold.
