Without You

Once I was twelve

And once I was lost

I once thought I could live without

And I once thought I was able to be without

You.

I once thought I could fight

And once I thought I’d do without

I once thought I was fine without

And I once thought I don’t need

You.

But once I met

And once I knew

I no longer thought

And then I was able to feel

You.

I live for

I feel happy in

I am satisfied in

I search for

You.

I am saved because of

I am dependent on

I am eternally grateful because of

I love

You.

I once was twelve

But I am no longer lost

I can no longer be without

I cannot live without

You… God.
