Without you

Without you, I could not walk.

Without you, I could not breathe.

Without you, I lack.

I lack the pleasures of life.

I lack feeling the wind touch my face and blow my hair.

Without you, I could not think.

Without you, I collapse to the floor with no beat.

Without you, I am dead.

But without you, I would not drive myself crazy.

Without you, I would not overthink.

Without you, my meticulous brain, I would not be who I am.

Without you, I would not be.

I wrote this overlooking a view on the highway as the sun set
