WITHSTAND
Who's able to walk in my shoes?
Not a easy life felt like giving up
Living became a fight
Who's able to go where I've been?
Seen things I shouldn't have
Is there anyone who is willing to see what I've seen
No I didn't think so
Wouldn't wish my life on others
But many can relate but some lose faith
Quick to judge and hold grudges
Don't wanna see you give your life to what's right but little do they know
Can't come between what God has redeemed
wondered what all of it would mean
Why is my life hard, why i held up this guard
now I realized it was a test of faith
I couldn't keep making the same mistake
Had to get right
Wasn't easy it was a fight
God renewed me
Once blemish made clean
Yes was lost
Laid my burdens On the cross
The road I've come across was long and hard
I would be dead
But God had favor instead
The Lord's word i became hunger and was fed
Told me
Nothing shall form against me shall prosper
depressed and sick he was my doctor
Who impress who? Surly not man
My soul my life it rest in God's hands
Through God I can withstand
