The Woes of Untimely Love

It's two weeks before graduation

And this is what I feel:

Regret and anticipation

Like a squirming eel.

And pathetic rhymations

Stirring at the wheel.

A sweet desire for isolation

In arms that won't unreel.

With the first introduction

I felt your immense appeal.

And now I watch with frustration

As the clock keeps its reel.
