The Wolf

I’m here today

To tell you a story

About a certain kind of man

Who leaves you wanting more. See,

He’s the kind of guy

You’d take home to dad and mom

So he can smile and make them laugh

And use his charms to leave them thinking ‘he should’ve took you to prom’

The kind of guy who has

 The gentility of a flower,

The decorum of a gentleman,

And exudes masculine power

Add on a little money,

A good career,

A handsome face, body,

And always calls you ‘love’ or ‘dear’

He makes you smile

In the light of day

And does his best to not

Lead you astray

He’s the man,

If back in the old times,

You’d be arrange to be his

Despite the protests you seem to chime.

This young stranger

Sounds like your greatest dream

Until you look behind the clothes,

Tear some fabrics, cut some seams

You find the ugly monster,

The hungry wolf,

The dangerous creature

Whom you, he would engulf.

He lurks in the night

He leaves you in a fright

And despite his angry howls,

You’ll never leave his sight,

Nor his side because my dear

Once behind those doors

You’re opened to a world much like heroine

It leaves you wanting more

Then more isn’t enough

Though you know you want to stop

You cave against his words, his claws

Even though you hear your bones break and pop

It’s the pain that reminds you

Why you can’t stray and why you only cry

It’s the pain that he lays on you

That makes you want to die

All he has to do

Is leave you for one night

Leave you for one morning

One afternoon and you miss his bite

You miss his claws ripping your skin

His teeth chewing you bit to bit

His growls giving you dangerous chills

His words making you feel like shit

Then you question yourself

And you pray to God

And you wonder if there’s anyway

Any way you can dodge…him.

Well I’m here, sweet ladies,

To tell you that you can.

It’s the hardest thing to do

It takes the strength of a hundred men

You take your things,

You grow some courage,

And before you leave,

You grab your gun with a sick twisted urge

You go to his room

You sing him to sleep

You soothe him one last time

With your body as his sweet treat

Then get out of bed

Grab your gun

Forget inhibitions

Forget how you’ll be shunned

Pull off the safety

Aim it at the beast

Pull the trigger and BOOM!

The maggots have a feast

You’re free

You can run away

But you better run fast my dearies

The cops are on their way
