The Wolf and The Girl
The tree’s gnarled and long branches reach out
Seeking for someone to grab onto
The wind rustles through the woods
Drawing the blood red hood up
Tugging the dark as night pelt closer to her neck
Walking out of the woods supporting the weight of the wolf
