The Wolf and the Moon

the moon and the wolf played in the sky

but one day the wolf went down without realizing it was a last goodbye

the moon didn't have her true love so cried and cried

the wolf cried because he didn't have moon and couldn't fly

the moon slowly turned away with sorrow

while the wolf howl was now hollow

then one day the wolf howled a lullaby

the moon understood why

she closed her eyes and let go of her soul

she fell to earth as heavy as a bull

the moon was now a wolf just like her love

and there was no memory in the moon up above
