The wolf inside

The way to your soul Branches into two The path further leads you to The dire wolves fighting within Trying for power to sustain The dark beast filled with ego Moves with such pride Always the first one To pick up a nasty fight And there peaceful in his strides A northern wolf in white Encountering each blow Without a fight from his side He is not fed well, Yet a little slow But what’s for him to nurture on.. When all you have within Is just your big and dark monstrous ego
