The Wolves Run
In the hidden valleys, gone in all but memories, they run.
Forever, they run.
On cold, bare rock, on hard, rough ground, they run.
Forever, they run.
Along the narrow tunnel, darkening with each step, they run.
Forever, they run.
Paws against clouds, like once on the ground, they run.
Forever, they run.
Amber eyes searching, for the path that used to be,
The Eternal Quest they all must now take.
The warmth from the darkness, the fire to melt the ice, they run.
Forever, they run.
