A Woman
There were times in my life when I would just cry.
I would just cry and cry, and just pray for someone to ask me why.
There were times in my life when I would just look in my reflection.
Is this the person that I'm stuck with? Is this my perfection?
I wanted to end everything because I felt there was no hope.
And that this sadness was going to be here with me forever and I would just have to cope.
But this all changed because of one woman who came into my life.
This one woman who would change me and made me want to live a better life.
Her voice, so powerful, filled with intelligence one cannot compare
Her soul, so illuminating and humble. Yet opened to the public to share.
She has been through so many challenges in front of the public eye.
But she still strives to make the best artwork of mankind.
She taught me to be comfortable in who I am becoming.
She taught me that it is okay put your guard down and to be welcoming.
Because of her, I found the girl who I was missing inside.
I found the one who I swore that died.
Now the times that I would cry I now sing.
I sing to her melodies and fulfill every ring.
If it wasn't for this inspring woman, I wouldn't be the young lady I am today.
Thank you so much for being my biggest influencer Beyonce.
