That this is who I am.

That this is how I feel I need to be.

If you knew me ten years before.

You wouldn't want me.

I know I wouldn't.

I was a bully, I was a jerk.

I was a little selfish,

Didn't see how I'd make others hurt.

You wouldn't want me.

 

If you knew me five years before.

You'd see I was making up for who I was before.

But then I became helpless in the mold I made.

I couldn't be anything more.

I was the person you turned to, I helped you.

But because of that I was used.

Because of that I turned blue.

Becuase while you could turn to me I couldn't turn to you.

I think that broke me, completely.

Knowing I was alone.

You wouldn't have liked me, because there was no one home.

I have grown wiser.

I have grown taller.

I am not the girl from five, ten years ago.

This is a new me.

The real question is "Do you want a girl, or a woman?"
