The Woman of Her Word

If you stay around me long enough, and make me be myself,

The biggest fear that I have is losing who I am.

I wish I could just go, without saying goodbye

I wish I could just let it go without thinking twice

What if I could pretend that you are my enemy?

Or that you did bad?

Would it be easier to leave?

In case some things aren't just right

Let me be the woman of my word

And put my safety first,

Although I think it cold be worse

Guess what?

It's false

What I just wrote was just a thought

The hard truth is,

You have to make it work
