Woman King

She is the Universe,

acolyte priestess to all unknown,

born with binary stars for eyes,

constellations of red tattooed across skin,

a black hole’s hunger on her tongue.

She is the Ocean,

singer of sweet soft lullabies,

that bring the drowning dreams,

bloodletter and marrowseeker,

wearer of the sharks smile,

boundary keeper of sea and sky.

She is hunt-songs, the crest

and crash of salted water,

the indelible pull of gravity,

not quite of nature

nor of humanity.

Chaos calls to chaos

and she is the goddess

of Anarchy.
