A Woman Undefined
Who knows the real meaning of me?
Nobody does, except me.
So deeply confined inside my head,
You left me there for dead.
Waiting ad wondering when my life will begin,
I m a lost cause.
Torn and spit out of my ememies' jaws,
Abandoned, abused, left without clues,
You judge me by my appeance and size.
The shape of my thighs,
Really!
You don't know what I go through.
Discriminated against by the complexion of my skin,
Continuously working dead-end jobs to make amends,
Life is battlefield and I am stuck in the middle.
Every day is a struggle for me.
Concerned about the food left to eat,
Belittled and used to the fullest,
Why should I have to dodge bullets?
Raised in a single-parent home,
Been through way too much to lie down and die,
Telling lies to hide my true feelings,
You will never know me until you are in my shoes.
I know some people have worse conitions,
The life I live is a result of indecisive decisions.
Not healthy enough to escape the doctor's touch,
But yet still remain tough,
You may find me lost,
But I know myself inside and out,
You just need to find out who I am beyond my appearance,
I am a woman undefined.
You will only know if you look deeper inside.
