Woman With Issues

You don’t live in the present, you are stuck in the past That’s the real reason our relationship didn’t last Stuck in quicksand, it is impossible for you to move forward Making new relationships eventually difficult and awkward You’re a saint of a person but you live your life for someone else If you don’t conform to their will, they will make your life a living hell You’re a nice woman and I did want to commit to a relationship with you But you have too much baggage from the past and you’re a Woman With Issues It’s not a sin to want to have your own life But an overbearing parental unit doesn’t seem to think you have the right You can have your own life when your arrangement with her comes to an end But being a caregiver, your life can be over before it really begins You’re a good person but people use that to take advantage of you They say they are doing it for your own good but they are making you a fool You’re a nice woman and I really did want to have a relationship with you But you just have too much baggage from the past and you’re a Woman With Issues Living your life based on a bad experience with a dead man in the ground Being controlled by an overbearing parent that is still around When you live in the past, in the present you will be stuck I was second fiddle and a third wheel in this ridiculous scenario and I had enough Your current arrangement was in place long before I met you Your baggage from the past carried too much weight and there was nothing I could do You’re a nice woman and I really did want to commit to a relationship with you But you have too much baggage from the past and you’re a Woman With Issues It’s not a sin for wanting to have your own life But you made a mistake in the past and now you don’t have the right It is very difficult to find true love and romance When you’re not given a true second chance I really tried but I realized in your world, I really had no true place The ghosts of your past and current obligations kept getting in the way I really did care but your current situation made it impossible for me to commit to you You just have too much baggage from the past and you’re a Woman With Issues From Too Much Unwanted Noise Copyright 2019 Resisting Distress Publishing
