A womanly change
My first peom ever
18 year of growth and its unexplainable . Built up emotion in a tank and I was flammable . A hot head tangle in the web of change . From sweet Barbie dolls to boys in gold chains. Diaper To thong most of my child hood gone . You only really remember when you were the happiest or saddest never in between . Either What was taking or wanting ever-thing you seen.
I had became a women or a growing one . Just because of my menstrual cycle Or my body having the ability to grow someone. The day it came my stomach felt like it was shot by a gun. I yelled my mothers name in pain and suddenly I wasn’t having fun. She rush into the bathroom in a fast paste run . I didn’t do nothing but glare I had never seen so much blood down there.
My mother knew what to do . She Told me information and gave me pad to get me through. 3 to 7 days I sat in pain trying to cope with this extraordinary Change . My period , my cycle my time of the month it goes by different names . No matter what u call it it all happens the same. The beginning of the month was what you hoped for , but it’s always creeped up 3 or four days before.
Over-the-counter pills Cover up the pain made me feel normal and cover up this change. My period is bittersweet yet it’s better then having to give a baby something to eat. Being on my cycle I always kept my self neat. I made tracker to keep me up to date and complete. When I got my period it was my first real moment that my body will never be the same.. It made me realize that we don’t stay the same. Change is inevitable as bad as it sound . I had to create a new life style every time my period came around. I wasn’t a shame to walk this new path and where this crown.
It’s a part of me and it why I’m who I am now . I am a flower that will one day have a seed to bloom but for now I hope my period comes soon. ❤️
