One-half the globe that is treated as a foreign member Making us stand out Earning less Needing more Working as hard and long as the opposite sex Only making cents on the dollar, by comparison Moving forward in a society living in the past Encouraging our daughters, sisters, nieces, etc. Never to go back to that life. We each contribute in some small way On the grand scale Making a difference each day Each in her own capacity Never abandoning our cause Women worldwide On this earth Making equality a reality Encouraging their male counterparts to take part Never abandoning the goal.
