The wonder of animals leading

The wonder of animals leading

My soul’s daily feeding

Gratitude for the wild

Blessed contact since a child

The caring for each

Has so much to teach

The act of touching their life

A release from my personal strife

My heart lightens

Feeling their brightness

Their soft fur a reminder of infinity

Understanding true divinity

In awe of their innocence

Experiencing the oneness

My spirit floats and hovers

Transported by them as by lovers
