The Wonderful Me

Myself: who am I?

Should that be a question or an affirmation?

Who I am... is wonderful.

I cannot be anyone but myself.

It is funny to wake up every morning being the same person...

But at the same time I am constantly changing, aging, like a flower...

Sometimes it is hard to accept anything that might look like an imperfection,

but when my mind gets clear,

when my heart can heal,

then I can start to see

the wonderful me.

The wonderful me can dance without a drop of embarrassment...

The wonderful me can laugh, and feel the breeze, and enjoy every single breath it takes.

The wonderful me is lucky enough to be alive today, to be present in the world

and to connect with others in order to learn, and improve itself.

The wonderful me is a bird, is a song, is an old wisdom hidden in the most sacred places.

Floating through time and space like a leave in the wind,

I have been, I am and I will be... The Wonderful Me.
