A Wonderful Month

I bet you thought that I forgot
But let me assure you that I have not
It felt so short but yet so long
The month that passed and now is gone
But do not worry, do not fear
Our memories and moments I hold dear

I remember when I asked you out
The feeling, the scene, and everything about
My mind was certain but my heart was racing
I did not know what I would be facing
The sky was dark and the stars were ablaze
But it was your beauty that caught my gaze

I hope these words reveal to you
That I like you a lot and my feelings are true
You make me happy, you make me better
That's why I send to you, this poetic letter
