A Wonderful Sight

A wonderful sight it is:

Brain.

Crafted for people like me

Determined to do something with their life.

Eagerness can be a mistake.

Flying through life is full of so many

Goals to accomplish.

High from the past and crying at the present.

It’s me:

Joyful from what happened and

Killed by circumstance.

Light and fast, time won’t stop and

My brain won’t stop and

Nothing will stop to breathe.

Only I can control the way I let

People affect my life.

Quiet.

Realizing I must manually stop is

Suddenly making sense to me.

Time can be manipulated by

Using willpower and

Verifying self-worth.

Wicked is the past and being a

Xanthippe is me no more.

Young, scared, but ultimately

Zealous.
