Wonders of Love

I once had seen a girl amongst the sea of chairs and un familiar faces

With a smile so bright, and a mouth full of braces

I knew nothing about the girl, but just by looking at her face I felt I did

She was so beautiful, when I glanced at her it was hard to keep my smile hid

I must know this girl I thought to myself

She’ll never like me, I’m weird, I thought to myself

However if I try hard enough I may succeed

“Try hard and you’ll succeed,” what my mum had always told be, and now I agreed

With success on my mind, I sat across from her and smiled

When I looked in her eyes I felt good, just staring at the wonder child
