Wonders of New England

Snow banks in April

White pimples on the

Face of an adolescent

Spring field.

Stubborn temples

Dedicated to the failing

Gods of winter in

The glory of spring.

Steaming piles of

Shit, on a lovely green

Persian, drained of color

And silently judging.

That which shines in

The calculated darkness of

December

Blights, the eyes of

Decent men in the softness

of April.
