Won't Let Go

When ground caves in around you, I'll be there to pull you from its dark depths. I'll hold your hand until the nightmare is over. If you slip from the rock that was suppose to hold you up, I'll help you to your feet. I promise not to let go in your time of need. When the tears of bottled up pain finally spill, I'll be the shoulder you can cry on. I'll hold on to you. When it seems like you're being spoonfuls of bullshit, I'll hold your hand until its over. When you reach for my hand know that there is strength in it. No matter what happens, no matter what happened, Know that you'll have me to hold on to. I promise, I. Won't. Let. Go.

I write poems at a whim, but they are always insipered by paying attention to others. I am 18 yrs. old, a senior in high school, and I am slowly reaching my goals. All of which include writing. I live in Detroit, Michigan and I love every minute of it.
