Won't or Can't?

I am the puzzle piece that won't fit

The edges are aligned

The picture matches

And yet it won't go in

Why?

Is it stubbornness

Or pride?

A need of individuality?

Assimilation fears?

If it fits in

Won't it be lost in this crowd of others?

Then why does it look

As if it should fit?

Camouflage?

Is staying out worse than fitting in?

If one squints one's eyes

The puzzle looks complete

Sorta

I will never know

What the fished picture will be

I am the puzzle piece

That can't fit
