Woods
Woods
A path where every man must go
But not all come home
As they are left to rot and roam
Forever seeking a way to atone
Yet forgotten walking all alone
Weary to the bone
Searching the eternal catacomb
Trying to vanquish life yet always being dethroned
Something a strong man must not condone
His freedom and pride his cornerstone
The world he disowns
For his morals are made known
And a bright light is shone
A beacon to all those disowned
The essence of good is grown
Darkness falls under his cyclone
For his path is lit and his life’s on loan
Be wary of the sickness without backbone
For it shall be overthrown
As the man leaves it to wither and die on its own
To stand alone
Forever triumphant on his tombstone
