Word Keys

All writing holds a small bit of magic

hidden in the voice in your head.

If your eyes read the word SHOUT,

five letters become a little louder.

If the eyes read this little bit, 

the words become a whisper. 

But these are just words read,

with little pwer to be remembered. 

It is when these words are linked

one by one in a steady chain

that a story can be made.

Of course, there are many forms.

Some storie are long, or epic, or neverending.

Others are short, precise, or straight to the point.

But how does one write  story

from one feeling rather than idea?

This is where poetry comes in. 

When one desires to only express a feeling

or to ease the effect of an emotion, 

poetry is often the key to sanctuary. 

Whether it be sad or happy,

whether it be short or long, 

there will always be a story.
