The word love is funny

Because I love you, I won't be mad that you ate the last bite.

Because I love you, I will be forever there to build you up, and see you see the highest of heights

I love you because when I am filled with sorrow, large enough to fill the ocean, you are the sun, and evaporate it away

I love you because although there are many things different and strange about me, and I am filled with anger, you soothe me

I don't love you because of you being the most perfect being on earth.

But I don't love when we are separated in different worlds and we are both filled with rage

I don't love when you make me feel empty and cold like the first winter day

And I especially don't love when you aren't here.

Although the word love is funny, I love you because you are my best friend.
