Word Massacre


Ravagers of Poesy,

 spear points of denial

 

Mongol hordes of fancied verse,

spewing dense and vile

 

Free words they herd together,

to drive toward a cliff

 

Trampled once they hit the ground

—by verbal hippogriffs
