A word we no longer use

A word we no longer use

In violent agreement

I respair

In desolate discord,

I despair

I am not a misfortunate heir

to loss, I swear.

My life and love

I hope,

To repair

In all my actions and thoughts,

Everything and everywhere

I prepare.

Alone, solitaire,

because I deeply care

I declare!

This is the burden I will happily bear.
