Words

(poems go here) Seemingly harmless they slip through the cracks, Our words are sent out like spies, some to defend some to attack. But in these words lie a problem, once they’ve left our lips, we can never retrieve them. Many of our words are misunderstood, Left for interpretation, most of the time not interpreted in the way it should. A simple statement meaning nothing, Can start a war, And twist nothing in to a misunderstood something. But even more harmful are the words left unsaid, With the lack of explanation, In silence the feelings become misled. So think about what you say, say what you mean, but do this in a way everyone comes out clean.
