Words

Words invade the empty space in my mind

Flow through my veins

And formulate through my pencil

They live deep within me

Revealing my emotions

Tracing over my heart with the technique of a stencil

They evoke my memories

See right through me

Search my sleeping soul

And project life through me

Words accelerate my thoughts

My knowledge they endue

Expand my perspective of the world

They are what my mind connects to

Words surround the universe

Whether it be good or bad

People’s lives they are affecting

They can break or make you

So the perfect job for me

Would be to use my words as a blessing
