Words

If it were up to me,

I’d change what people say

From words that tear you down

To words that make your day.

It may seem trivial,

The things you often state.

Those words may make one smile.

Those words may make one hate.

You could be a builder,

Or to the ground you burn.

The choice is yours to make.

Will victory you earn?

If it were up to me,

I’d change what people say.

Your words could change the world

For the better. Start today.
