Words

If I could put my feelings into words, I'd speak of things you've never heard. I know the words would make you believe, And your mind would require no questioning. The words would simply capture your heart-- Your soul would dance, whilst love played its part. Tightly I would squeeze, Holding you close to me, Knowing you were never to leave. Two hearts beating as one, Synchronized, yet still free, For alone already wonderful, But together mesmerizing, And I would never let go. But the words I want to share cannot be spoken-- No expression exists. They are deep and hidden secrets developed long ago. Like magic, they can only be shown-- Through action, they will glow. But allow me please, To make one attempt, With living and expressible words. Though the may not be magical, They're still ever so powerful, And beautifully formulated too. So please listen carefully, For nothing's more true, Believe me when I say, Darling, I'm in love with you.
