Words

Words can build. A compliment may make a person happy The truth can reveal the beautiful world And a noble lie can protect you from harm. Words can also destroy. A critique can diminish a person The truth can reveal the ugly And a lie can brew betrayal. Words are essential to both friends and enemies. Good words create peace and bad ones create wars. But not on their own. Be careful what you say and choose your words wisely.
