words.

What are words, words are useless

yet we can’t stop using words.

words cover up the sound of the world

the barks, the tweets, the moos.

The sound of the waves crashing,

of the wind through the trees.

Words destroy the silence,

of the stars looking down,

of a last breath taken,

of the unknown wonders.

Maybe if we stopped using words

We could hear everything else
