Words

This question that you asked me,

has me thinking.

I know I could simply say

food or,

water or,

even electricity.

I could be a teenager,

and whine about a life without

a phone and internet.

I could be an adult, and say

sex,

drugs,

money,

POWER...

Others say love,

and warmth.

One thing I can not live without,

is my words.

My words can and will turn into a voice.

A voice.

That shares my beliefs.

If I have my beliefs,

Then I know I will survive.
