words

it started with a word

that someone had to have herd

in the silence of darkness

someone said a word.

God had a plan

to make some land

and among it creatures

then along came man.

this was with a word.

to be alone

having nobody home

and having no words to have spoke...

it is empty.

Words are with life

and with meaning

and with light

so to be without words

is to have no life

no meaning

no light.

to have someone to speak to

and to have someone to listen to

is to let the feeling come outside of you

to scream and shout words of praise

or mumble and grumble words of hate

its all the same

meanings and feelings bleed out with each word

things are not things without words

cats are not cats and birds are not birds

and a bird's wings can not flap

and our human hands can not clap or slap

our minds will not think of thoughts

and never again

can we make up plots

it'll all disapear

do you understand?

have i made it clear?

brothers and sisters

all things through words.
