Than Words

THAN WORDS by. R.p. Stevens If I had another shot To be the best I can I'd change my paths early on To become a better man My thoughts, my attitude And even all my actions I would block out negativity To gain self satisfaction In school I would study more Home I'd follow rules I wouldn't make the bad decisions To fit in and be cool I know it's ridiculous And even a bit absurd But life is such a challenge This is deeper THAN WORDS I would have never been arrested For choices that I made I never would have done a drug I would have pushed them away I would have been a better son To my mom and to my dad My actions caused a title wave My life's only regrets If I had one shot to change it It wouldn't be such a blur This life is such a challenge This is deeper THAN WORDS. Everyone would judge you We always tried so hard to please Getting old isn't glamorous Life slow down for me We take for granted what we've done and even where we've been When ur life throws you a curve ball We try and take it with a grin these are just emotions Pouring out and bleeding pure But these are thoughts put on paper That are deeper THAN WORDS..
