Words

Words

Words, they sing, scream, resound in a vivacious uproar

They bash, cut, destroy, they tear down the walls between us

Words that separate us, destroy us, ruin us

We are defined not just by what we do but why

Are you sweet, or are you bitter

Are your ambitions shown by the goal or the journey

How do you tell another person who you are

Words and Time

Words they can make us feel the sweetest of bliss, feelings of love and safety

Or do they end us, become the scars we look at every day, the worst of us

To discount the most basic form of connection

To say that what we do speaks louder than what we say

Is not inherently true

Let actions speak louder than words but let your words speak loudly

And if you can, let them be kind
