Words

Words flow like honey from your lips, drop like dew from the morning mist...  quickly vanish, cannot last in the heat of the sun.  They spring up, flower in the moment but wilt thirsty for more.  Missed by an inch.  Missed by a mile.  Maybe that kiss would have happened if I would have smiled?  The racket went up... and blocked...door slammd shut...not locked.  Maybe that's why you couldn't stay.  Maybe that's why you had to go away.
