Words
Inspiration.
It comes in many forms.
For some it may be weather,
The rain pit pattering on the windows of your bedroom,
The sun shinning in on your face as you wake.
For others it may be a loved one, one alive or one who's passed.
A best friend who's always been there for you,
A loving grandmother deceased and laid to rest in the form of ashes.
You want to make her proud, she's your inspiration.
For me my motivation is doubt.
Doubt from other people,
Them telling me I'll never make it big as a writer or artist.
I love what I do,
I love my music, it's not a hobby it's a passion.
I can't stop my hands from picking up that pencil,
From writing beautiful words on a piece of paper,
Words that need to be heard.
When I get a beat stuck in my head I can't help but make words to go along.
The words, they come so naturally.
When they tell me that I can't do it it doesn't make me give up,
When they tell me this I only try harder,
Not to prove them wrong, but because this is who I am, and this is what I want.
That is my inspiration.
