Words

So many poems

so many words

not enough time in the day

for them all to be heard

they make you feel happy

bring a smile to your face

pull you out of the darkness

wrap you in lyrical embrace

when the tears start to fall

you feel lost and alone

write down those words

make sense of it all

words have more meaning

than the sounds that they hold

keep you're head up, they say

you're worth more than gold
