Words Across a Page

It's simple what makes me happy.

The smile that lights my face,

Comes from the words written,

So beautifully across a page.

And I love it when it's dark,

When the sun's gone for the day,

And the rain falls with hearty cheer,

From skies of soothing gray.

But perhaps the best part,

Is the comfort of sheets,

I've never been more content,

I don't ever want to leave.

And I won't.

Because that's what makes me happy.
