Words Are Not The Enemy

Words, they always seemed like bullets hitting my skin.

They could hurt anyone coming from the wrong hands.

But then one day I met you.

A book of poem that showed me the truth.

Words were never the enemy just like a gun was never the problem.

It was the people and that the most important words towards me came from me.

You taught me i could turn words into flowers and love.

You taught me that words could bring two people together for life until death do them apart.

You taught me words could make someone put a bottle of pills down.

You taught me that words were not the enemy, I just had to find the right ones to believe in.
