Words Chosen
Sadness dwells in my hearts at the sight of those words.
The thought of such an endeavour is almost absurd.
It isn't you that is to blame,
still it turns out to be such a shame.
For something so simple, I didn't think it too bad,
until the emptiness hit, because then I was just sad.
Words chosen over me, for the first time.
Another mountain that I must climb.
I'll wait for the day,
when we'll have so much to say.
Waiting to see you, and talk to you,
with everything we have been through.
A nightmare come to life, haunting my hearts and mind,
Back in that darkness; the way out I hope to find.
