Words Do Hurt

Everyday Kelly was being picked on at school. Kids called her names and laughed at her it was just plain cruel. But NO the pain didn't just stop at school because as soon as she got home her drunk step father laid down the rules. It seemed like no matter where she went she couldn't escape the pain, everyone everywhere just the same.No one ever told her she was pretty.Nothing that she did was right. She was always wrong and every little things she did people wanted to pick a fight. But if only Kelly could see she was so much more this beautiful talented little girl had so much to live for.But she was pushed and pulled threw the dirt so many times it made it impossible for her to stop crying.I wish someone would have got to Kelly before she did what she did..before that gun went off on either one of those kids..before that policeman had to take her life..before she lied there struggling hard to breath and before this became evident that it happen just because of some words of tease."YOU'RE UGLY! YOU'RE UGLY!"Just words right?? Well what happens when you hear those words your whole life? Just repeating, just reapeating, just repeating in your head.Would you have done what Kelly did? Kelly just couldn't take it anymore. It was too much to bear.See, she thought her life was over, before it even began. So, in reality Kelly never even really had a chance.Words DO Hurt.Words CAN Hurt.Words HURT.
