Words hurt

Fear courses through my veins spreading it's freezing cold grip through my body. As I go through the halls I bow my head and shuffle along like a rat because I'm afraid I'll cross your evil path. It's too late you saw me and I have nowhere to hide. People think that the worse kind of abuse is physical, but it's not. Even though it's visible and hurts it doesnt hurt as much as words. They slice up your insides into tiny slivers of what they use to be and begin to tug at your deepest heart strings till you just explode one day. Words hurt and once you say them you can't take them back. Words hurt more than you would think and cause your deepest, darkest nightmares to unravel and unfold. Watch what you say because it could be the end of another.
